GENERATION Z SHOWS US HOW IT'S FUCKING DONE
Less than two weeks after a student armed himself with an AR-15 and killed 17 people at a school in Parkland, Florida, survivors of the mass shooting have called bullshit on ‘thoughts and prayers’ and have started a nationwide movement for change - #NeverAgain. They aren’t fucking around.
“Senator Rubio, can you tell me right now that you will not accept a single donation from the NRA?” - Cameron Kasky
Kasky and other survivors got the opportunity to question their local politicians in a forum hosted by CNN shortly after the shooting. They ripped into them.
“They don’t need to tell us that we don’t know what we’re talking about. We have stared down the barrel of an AR-15 ourselves. We’re just trying to not let 17 of us get shot in the fucking face again.” Kasky yells to a crowd at a rally for #NeverAgain, they’re campaigning for ‘common sense laws’ such as more thorough background checks and a ban on add-ons that are capable of turning semi-automatic weapons fully automatic.
So what’s Drumpf’s solution? Why, arming teachers of course! Because logically the solution is to add MORE guns to the situation, can you imagine your teachers from school armed with guns? Not only is this solution fucking idiotic, it would also mean over $1 billion in windfall for the NRA and gun companies in equipment and training costs. Corrupt much?
These students have been accused of being ‘crisis actors’ planted by left-wing extremists. They’ve even received death threats – DEATH THREATS. What the fuck is wrong with people?! It only spurs them on, they’ve raised over $2 million for a 500,000 people strong march on Washington next month. The NRA may have their claws in current politicians, but this is where the 2018 midterm elections come in to play, it’s time to vote them out.

Several major companies like Hertz and Delta Airlines have also ended their association with the NRA, they used to provide members discounts. Now why the fuck they were offering NRA members discounts in the first place, I’ll never know, but at least they’re stopping now!? Several gun stores have also announced their own policies, some removing the AR-15 from their shelves, some refusing to sell guns to individuals under 21. Because in the US, you can’t buy alcohol but fuck yeah buy yourself a FUCKING GUN!
So this is where we come in, and by we I mean anyone older than this new generation. I'm talking millennials and generation X in particular, we have to support these kids by going out and voting, by being active in our communities and in greater contexts. Let's end the tradition of looking down on the next generation as being those rotten, self-absorbed children and actually work together to improve this world. It fucking needs it.
